Privacy Policy
Effective October 19, 2026
New Creation Living provides structured, all-inclusive housing for independent adults on fixed government income in Metro Atlanta and Middle Georgia. We also help people understand and apply for benefits they may qualify for. This policy explains what we collect when you use newcreationliving.org, why we collect it, and how we handle it.
We are a structured independent living provider, not a licensed personal care home or a medical provider. We still treat housing, benefits, and health-related answers as sensitive and limit who on our team can see them.
Information we collect
You choose what to send us. Typical submissions include:
- Residency applications. Name, phone, email, date of birth, gender, benefit type and monthly amount, living situation, most recent address and a contact there, whether others would live with you, emergency contact, how you heard about us, and an optional promo code if you have one from an event or flyer. We also ask what mental diagnosis you have, what medical diagnosis you have, about mobility issues, medications, criminal history, and substance use. A blank answer, “none,” or “N/A” means there is no diagnosis. If you name a mental diagnosis and a therapist or doctor, we ask for that person’s name, phone number, and address. If your benefit is SSI, SSDI, or Social Security, we ask whether you have Medicare or Medicaid. We use these answers to see whether independent, roommate-style housing is a fit.
- Referrals. The same kinds of details about the person being referred, including address, mental diagnosis, medical diagnosis, and therapist or doctor contact when that applies, plus the referrer’s name, role, organization, and contact information (for example a social worker, discharge planner, VA staff member, or family member). A promo code is optional.
- Benefits screening. Contact information, which benefit you are asking about (SSI, SSDI, VA, Social Security), prior applications, work and military history, disability, income, and assets. We use this to evaluate a path to approval and may share it with the attorneys who help on those cases.
- Tour requests and move-in scheduling. Name, phone, email, preferred visit date, and similar details needed to show a home or confirm a move-in.
- Free guides. An email address, so we can send the daily plan, housing comparison, and fixed-income cost guide. We may also send an occasional note about housing. We do not sell that address.
If you reach us through an advertisement (for example Facebook or Google), that platform may also send us the name, phone number, or other details you entered on the ad.
The website also collects ordinary technical data: pages visited, approximate location from IP address, device and browser type, and whether a form was submitted. Advertising and analytics tools (Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, and Meta Pixel) help us know which ads and pages led someone to apply, refer, ask about benefits, or schedule a tour. Those companies may set cookies or similar identifiers on your device. They do not receive the application itself, the promo code, health answers, addresses, or therapist contact.
How we use it
- Review applications and referrals and follow up by phone, email, or text
- Confirm benefit eligibility and run a standard background check
- Match someone to an available room and schedule tours or move-in
- Help with SSI, SSDI, VA, or Social Security screening and applications
- Operate the homes after move-in, including a short set of safety flags drawn from the application (medication storage, NA/AA, substance history, and mental health history)
- See which event or flyer a promo code came from
- Measure and improve our website and advertising
- Keep records we are required or reasonably need to keep
We do not sell your information. We do not use application answers to build public marketing lists.
Who can see it
We share information only as needed to place someone or help with benefits:
- New Creation Living owners and administrators, who can see the full housing file in the staff dashboard and house app
- The house manager assigned to that resident, who can see that resident’s file and safety flags. A manager does not see residents assigned to someone else
- Other residents, who can see their own house activity, points, and public house events. They cannot see another person’s application, therapist or doctor contact, safety flags, tours, or staff schedules
- Benefits attorneys and related professionals when you ask us for help applying for government benefits
- Service providers that host this website, store form submissions, and send email or text messages on our behalf
- An AI provider (OpenAI), only for messages a resident sends to the Thrive money coach, as described below
- Advertising platforms (Google and Meta) for page views and conversion measurement. They receive the fact that a form was submitted, not the answers
- A court, regulator, or other party if the law requires it
Referrers should only send information they are allowed to share. If you refer someone else, you are responsible for having a basis to give us their details.
Sensitive answers
Housing and benefits forms ask about health, disability, medications, income, criminal history, and substance use because those facts affect whether independent roommate-style housing is appropriate and whether someone may qualify for benefits. A government benefit often already reflects a work-limiting condition. If someone names a mental diagnosis and a therapist or doctor, we keep that provider’s name, phone, and address in the same file so staff can coordinate care around the home. We also keep a medical diagnosis when one is given, and the most recent address and a contact there.
After someone moves in, we copy a short set of safety flags onto the house roster: Meetings, for a drug or alcohol history, and Mandate residents to keep mental health medicine in the cabinet, for a mental diagnosis or when someone cannot manage medicine on their own. Those flags are visible to the owner, administrators, and the assigned house manager. The owner can also add a custom tag and assign it to residents. Those tags are visible to the same staff group. They are not shown to other residents. The therapist’s name, phone, and address stay on the intake file for that same staff group.
Staff email includes the submission so the team can review it. Text messages and phone alerts to staff include the person’s name and that a form arrived. They do not include health answers, addresses, or therapist contact. The confirmation sent back to the applicant does not repeat those answers. Promo codes are used only to tell which event or flyer someone came from. We do not sell them, and we do not send them to advertising platforms.
These answers are not used as a public marketing score. The public website cannot read submitted applications back. A new submission stays pending until a staff member accepts it.
The NCL house app
The NCL app on the Apple App Store and Google Play is for people who live in a New Creation Living home and for the staff who run it. It is the same housing file as this website, not a separate product. Residents and house managers sign in with a 4-digit PIN. The owner uses a house code. Administrators use the same email and password as the staff dashboard.
The app stores and shows:
- Name, phone, email, date of birth, and gender from the housing file
- Health and housing answers already on an application, including mental diagnosis, medical diagnosis, medications, substance history, and criminal history, for the owner, administrators, and the assigned house manager
- Safety tags and custom tags drawn from those answers
- Points, notes, complaints, and house announcements
- A push token from Apple or Google if you allow notifications, so the app can alert staff about a new form or a house announcement. The token is stored in our database (Supabase) and sent through Expo’s push service. It is not used for advertising.
Login PINs are stored as a one-way hash. Staff who create a PIN see it only while they are typing it. The app does not keep a list of PINs on the home screen. The app does not use advertising trackers.
NCL Thrive money plans
NCL Thrive is a savings tool in the house app. It helps a resident set a money goal, such as a car, a home, or better credit, and save toward it each week. Thrive is being rolled out in stages and may not be available to every resident yet. When a resident uses it, the app stores:
- Answers to the Thrive money questions: how and how often they are paid, take-home pay, how steady it is, benefits received and amounts, whether they have checking or savings and the balances, monthly bills, money sent to others, and a target date
- Answers for the goal they pick, which can include debts (type, balance, rate, minimum payment, and whether it is behind or in collections), a credit score range and credit report questions, rent and moving plans, home buying plans, and car details such as price range, trade-in, and insurance
- Their reminder choice and whether they want a weekly check-in with staff
- Their goals, target amounts, target dates, payday, and weekly savings amount
- Which weeks they saved, the steps and calendar tasks they added, and how many friends they plan to refer
Every Thrive question can be skipped with "I don't know" or "I'd rather not say". Thrive never asks for and does not collect Social Security numbers, bank or card account numbers, PINs, passwords, or logins to banks, lenders, or credit bureaus. Do not type them into any answer or into the coach.
The resident sees the full plan. At the end of the money questions, the resident chooses whether NCL staff can see their answers. If they say no, the owner, administrators, and the assigned house manager see only whether the resident is on track, behind, or has no plan. If they say yes, the owner and administrators can also see the answers, the reminder choice, and the check-in request so they can help. House managers still see only the on-track status. The resident can change this choice at any time by updating their answers. Thrive amounts are never sent to advertising platforms.
Thrive includes an AI money coach. When a resident writes to the coach, the message, the recent conversation, and a short computed summary of their Thrive plan (income, money left over each month, the monthly goal amount, rent, each goal's target, and any warning flags, such as a payday loan or a debt in collections) are sent through our website host (Vercel) to an AI provider (OpenAI) to write a reply. The raw answers are not sent. The coach only discusses NCL-related money planning. We do not save the chat after the conversation ends, and the coach cannot save a goal or task unless the resident taps to add it. Do not type health details, account numbers, or passwords into the coach. Coach replies are general guidance, not financial, legal, or tax advice.
You can close your own house login inside the app under Delete my login. That turns off the PIN immediately. Applications, move-in history, and other records we need to operate the home or meet a legal duty stay in the file. Email us if you want those reviewed for deletion.
Complaints and announcements can be reported in the app. Staff can remove a complaint and can block someone from posting. Write to support@newcreationliving.org or call (404) 731-2371 about a privacy or content concern.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiries, applications, referrals, and resident-related records for as long as we need them to follow up, operate housing, handle a later return, or meet recordkeeping and legal duties. When someone moves out, we keep that history and remove their house login so the old PIN no longer works. You can ask us to correct or delete information we no longer need to keep.
Your choices
You can apply, refer, or request a tour without creating an account. You can decline optional fields. You can ask us for a copy of what we have, to correct it, or to delete it where we are not required to retain it. Browser settings can block some cookies; blocking advertising cookies may not stop the site from working, but it can make our ads less accurate.
This site is for adults seeking housing or helping an adult do so. It is not directed at children under 18.
